Objective: Analyze multiple Master Schedules published by the General Contractor, with a focus on the structural modifications to the schedule, including duration changes; modifications to work plans, and baseline estimations variance; and changes in key milestone dates that were critical to the project. The goal was to provide understanding in the change of sequencing of work; understand the intent of changes and the effect on Client work; and quantify impact in terms of days to allow Client to develop the resulting cost impact.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
• Perform assessment during project's initiation to understand and record stakeholders involved
• Analyze and define scope of work both for the consulting project and for the Client's construction project at high level
• Adjustments made to the plan in response to schedule changes from the General Contractor
• Collect business requirements and fully detail out scope of work in Work Breakdown Structure
• Develop CPM construction project schedule using Primavera P6
• Create stakeholder communications plan
• Develop and provide a logical critical path allowing for proper analysis and correction of workflow
Result: Successfully took a complex schedule and presented our findings to allow informed decision making. This analysis was used to inform management on proactive risk management.
