Objective: Analyze multiple Master Schedules published by the General Contractor, with a focus of analysis on the structural modifications to the schedule, including duration changes; impacts from the modifications to the work plan; and changes in critical milestones. The goal was to provide understanding in the change of sequencing of work; understand the intent of changes and the effect on Client work; and quantify impact in terms of days to allow Client to develop the resulting cost impact.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
• Evaluation of published master schedule issued by the General Contractor to determine modification to scope, sequence, and dates
• Client CPM construction schedule development and Critical Path Management using Primavera P6
• Earned Value Analysis based on % Complete
• Performed schedule analysis and schedule audits, documenting risks and issues in the project's critical path, and highlighting any major scope changes identified
Result: Using schedule data, we were able to demonstrate the impact to Client's work due to schedule delays and impacts outside of our Client's control. We also provided Client with valuable insights into modification in crew loading to evaluate cost impact. The provided analysis was instrumental in helping Client decide the need to pursue a change order.
